What is BISC?
 
 
Bursa Inter-Varsity Stock Trading Challenge is a 3-month stock trading competition designed to challenge university students to achieve good returns through stock investing. This challenges gives students an opportunity to understand stock market trade in a practical way. The simulated trading challenge will enable participants to trade in the Malaysian stock market with zero real-life risk & be prepared for future real trades.

The objective of Bursa Inter-Varsity Stock Challenge (BISC) is to create investment awareness among the next generation youths and provide them with a simulated trading environment to do stock trading.

Using N2N Interactive Trader software, students get to learn how to trade financial securities with each other on a real-time basis, and how to quickly apply their knowledge of finance principles in a fast-paced, simulated trade floor experience.

Who Can Participate?
 
 
Bursa Inter-Varsity Stock Challenge (BISC) 2024 is open to all participating university students.
A participating team must consist of one (solo) up to a max of four (4) members from the same university and each must elect a student leader.

How It Works
 
 

Phase 1 : Trading Challenge

  • The contestants can trade listed securities based on real-time price feed on Bursa Academy trading platform
  • The contestants will compete to generate the highest returns
  • The top 20 teams with the highest portfolio value will be selected to advance to Phase 2

Phase 2: Finale

  • The Grand Finale is scheduled to take place in the month of Nov 2024
  • The finalist teams will present their investing principles and strategies to a panel of judges where their strategies are evaluated.

  • The trading platform is the Equities Trading Simulator, hosted on Bursa Academy and powered by N2N Connect. The trading rules are accessible here Doc
  • These cash prizes will be deposited into the winners’ trading account with the respective sponsoring broker whom the winners are required to open a trading account with
