Structured warrants are proprietary instruments from third-party issuers (usually qualified brokers or financial institutions) that give holders the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell the underlying instrument in the future for a fixed price. Structured warrants have become increasingly popular because they give investors exposure to an underlying share or index for a fraction of the price.
This course provides an overview of the key features, benefits and risks associated with trading of structured warrants.
You will also learn about warrant types (particularly call and put warrants), how structured warrants work, the most commonly used terms associated with structured warrants, and the basics of trading in warrants. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate.
